CLEVELAND, Jan. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Since justWink™ was introduced last summer by American Greetings Corporation (NYSE: AM), the free app has brought decidedly fresh greetings to where consumers most often communicate these days – their phones. The popular app has entered a new era as iPhone users now have the ability to not only send greetings via text message, email, and Facebook, but to personalize any card and send it directly to the lucky recipient's real mailbox. Additionally, even more justWink paper cards are set to launch at retailers nationwide this spring to provide yet another way for people to connect however and wherever they want.
For $2.99 a justWink card will be printed on quality greeting card paper and brighten someone's mailbox in 3 to 5 days domestic mail or 7 to 15 days internationally. Users need only select the "real mail" option to send their card through the mail after choosing and personalizing a card from the more than 200 designs currently available.
The app has continued to expand with new personalization features such as adding signatures, photos, and Facebook-powered birthday reminders. The card collection has been updated monthly to include friendship, birthday, wedding, bromance, commiserating on a rough day, Valentine's Day, and just about every other sending occasion one could wish for.
"justWink connects people like never before because we are giving them the ultimate choice on how, when, and where they connect," says Sally Schriner, president of American Greetings Interactive. "Whether it's purchasing a card at retail, sending a friend a quick note while waiting in line for coffee, posting a funny note to a friend's Facebook wall, or creating and mailing a birthday card on the go, we've got the right content everywhere they want to have it."
Current users of the justWink iPhone app need only update their app to access the new content and features. New users can download justWink for free in the iTunes App Store. Additionally, justWink is available from the Android Market. For more information, visit www.just-wink.com or www.facebook.com/justwink.
